After passing out of school, I joined Lady Brabourne College or LBC in short on July 1989 in the 11th standard. This is a womens' college located just opposite to the Park Circus Maidan in Calcutta. This is a college for both higher secondary & graduation courses. It consists of 19 departments combining the arts & science streams.

I was in the science stream. There was about 50 students in our class - coming from different schools from all parts of India. During the short period of two years, we had to gear up for our Higher Secondary & Joint Entrance Examinations & hence had little time for any other activities.

I am greatly indebted to my teachers in LBC for helping me in making it through those two tough years & examinations.
